How CCAM Investment Club collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the few cookies this site uses.

CCAM Investment Club (“CCAM”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through ccaminvestmentclub.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 and its Regulations.

What we collect and why
When you send us an enquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, what you are interested in and your message. The equity investor form also asks for your company, an indicative investment range and your preferred structure. We use these details only to answer you and to follow up on the membership, rent-to-own or investment you asked about. Your enquiry is stored on our website and emailed to the club’s inbox.
To stop spam and repeated submissions, the form keeps a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address. We never store the IP address itself, and the code cannot be turned back into it.
When you browse the site
Like every website, our hosting provider’s servers record basic technical information for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs keep the site secure and working, and are not used to identify you. Our security software also records the IP addresses of failed log-in attempts and blocked requests.
When you use WhatsApp or the member portal
The WhatsApp button opens a chat in WhatsApp, a service run by Meta under its own privacy policy. The Member Login and Join CCAM links take you to our separate member portal at portal.ccaminvestmentclub.com, which has its own terms for the account information it holds.
Third-party services on this site
- Google Fonts. The site’s typefaces load from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when they do.
- GTranslate and Google Translate. If you choose another language, the page text is sent to Google Translate for translation, and a cookie remembers your choice.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not currently use analytics tools that follow you across the site.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We keep them to a minimum.

You can change your choices at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but a chosen language will not be remembered.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run this website and our email, who process it on our instructions, or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your request and any membership or investment that follows, then delete them. Server and security logs are kept for a short period and then removed automatically.
How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised club staff can see enquiries, and access to the site’s administration is protected by security software.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to Uganda’s Personal Data Protection Office.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
